2018 Pitch Management Fees
11 Month Season
£2,790.60 – 1st March 2018 to 28 February 2019
Payment is due on or before 1 March 2018
The fee can be paid in 8 monthly Direct Debits of £371.50. This includes a 6.5% interest charge in addition to the pitch fee.
Lodges (Double Units) are charged a 5% premium to the costs above.
12 Month Season
Holiday home and Lodge owners can extend to a year round season for an additional £500 plus VAT.
Park Opening Times
11 Month Season
For holiday home owners taking up the standard 11 month season the park will be closed from the second Monday in January to the second Monday in February each
year. Caravans must be vacated during these weeks.
12 Month Season
Owners taking up the year round season can use their holiday homes throughout the year.
Electricity Charges
Holiday homes are individually metered with readings taken and bills sent out quarterly. Current rate per
unit £0.16p, plus VAT (5%). There is an annual standing charge of £19.20 per year.
Gas
47Kg gas bottles are on sale throughout the year from the office. The cost includes delivery, connection and removal of the empty canister.
Piped gas is available on our Valley View & Eden Park developments and this is charged at £2.85 (inc VAT) per cubic meter.
Insurance
All caravans on the park must be covered with insurance. We are able to offer insurance on a "New for Old" or "Market Value" basis. Please ask at the office
for a no obligation quote.
Age Limit of Holiday Homes
The age limit for caravans at Clayton is 25 years.
An important consideration when purchasing a caravan from a park is how long will the caravan be allowed to be kept on the pitch. Some parks will only allow
new caravans 10 or 15 years before they have to be removed or sold back to the park for a fraction of the initial cost.
Free Wifi
Wireless internet is provided to all holiday homes on the park. There is no additional cost for this service. BT landlines are also available if required.
New and Pre-Owned
The new and pre-owned holiday homes are sold by Clayton on to vacant pitches that are available on the park. The prices quoted for new and pre-owned caravans being sold by the park include:
- VAT
- Transport costs
- Siting and connection on the pitch of your choice
- Wrap around PVC Decking (with gate and hatch)
- PVC skirting - boxing in the underside of the holiday home
- 2 gas bottles - or connection to piped gas supply
- Double gas change over valve
- Gas safety certificate for 1st year
- Digital TV aerial
Holiday Homes can be ordered to individual specification from all manufacturers in the market.
Finance packages are available and part exchanges will be considered if required.
Private Sales
We also have a range of privately owned caravans for sale. These are being sold by the park on behalf of existing customers. These caravans are already sited on pitches.
